The Autumn Tag

Wow you guys must be feeling lucky today! Two posts in one day!
As we're coming up to mid November I thought I'd do this Autumn Tag post.

1.  Ok we're talking coffee's - what's your favourite seasonal drink from Starbucks/Costa/Cafe Nero etc?
I don't actually go to Starbucks/Costa/Cafe Nero that often to be honest! However, when I have been to Starbucks I usually go for a Caramel Macchiato. I love this drink and I'm pretty sure this is the only one I order from Starbucks, apart from a boring Mocha!

2.  Accessories - what do you opt for, scarf, boots, gloves?
I'm a scarf and boots girl. I don't really wear gloves, I know I should being as it's getting colder and it will ruin my hands but I only wear scarves when I go sledging or I'm going out for a walk. I won't wear them if I'm literally popping out for 5 minutes.

3.  Music - what's your favourite music to listen to during Autumn?
The only time I really change my music is at christmas, I like listening to christmas songs when it comes to December

4.  Perfume - what's your favourite scent for this time of year?
I really don't change my perfume that often, but right now I'm really loving Paco Robanne's Lady Million. I carry a sample bottle in my handbag that's a perfect little size just to top myself up.

5.  Candles - what scents will you be burning this season?
I normally stock up on Yankee Candles this time of year I love the Christmas collections that they bring out. I like the cinnamon scented ones normally and the christmas memories candles too.  Looking at the collection this year there is a Christmas Cookie candle which I really want to try out, as a sweet tooth girl I'm really looking forward to that one!

6.  What do you love most about Autumn?
I love the darker nights as it means cosy nights in with my boyfriend watching films. I love the food around this time of year too; stews and casseroles just make me feel so festive and it helps with the lead up to christmas!

7.  Favourite makeup look?
Right now I've been loving thin eyeliner and bold dark berry lips. I also use more bronze eye shadows this time of year, it brings out the autumnal look and bronze colours makes my eyes look even more blue.

8.  What are you looking forward to most in Autumn?
Seeing as Autumn is almost over I think I'll do a 'what did you most enjoy about Autumn?' I've really enjoyed being able to put my wellies on and go for walks through the woods round by my house. I like being able to kick through the leaves and watch them fall. I've also enjoyed having nights in with my boyfriend, having the fire on and watching our favourite shows.

High End Beauty - Wish List

Hello Everyone!

I hope you have all had a good weekend! Not looking forward to the early wake up tomorrow morning for work but I thought I'd cheer myself up by creating a 'wish list'of high end beauty items that I would absolutely love to have in my make up drawer.

FACE

Left to Right

EYES

BASE/FINISH

Normally I will buy my makeup from drugstores like boots or superdrug, it's very rare that I will splurge on beauty products at the moment as money isn't exactly something I have a lot of right now. I work as an apprentice, so I'm on an apprentice wage but this does stop in May, which I can not wait for!

So there you go, my current wishlist for face, eye and base/finish beauty products!

If you've tried any of these products I'd love to hear your opinions!

Borderline hoarder?

Hello Everyone!

So over the past couple of months I've had a move about with my bedroom furniture and it made me realise just how much 'stuff' I really do have. I still live with my parents, so yes just my bedroom. So I've found myself having weekly clearouts, and I'm still finding items in my room that I no longer need or use.

I'm pretty sure I'm a hoarder.

So, I thought I'd do a little post about how I've actually found it quite difficult to get rid of items in my bedroom. At first I thought it would be super easy just to get a couple of bin bags and just chuck out everything I hadn't used in ages but no. It was a bit of a nightmare, my first clearout I'm pretty sure I only really threw out a couple of items. I found that I was making up excuses as to why I shouldn't be getting rid of things: 'Oh but so and so bought me that', ' I might wear that soon', 'but it cost me a lot of money'.

After the second or third clearout I made myself part with items. I found it quite difficult to actually chuck out bits of my past. I couldn't quite understand why, I was just really attached to silly little items, like a paper weight that I bought at a car boot years ago with my nan. My nan is still alive and I love her to bits just so you all know!

What I'm trying to say is, don't be afraid to let go of items in your room/home. Sounds silly I know!  However, it is quite nice to just get rid of clutter and I feel like you can just breathe so much better. I think lots of clutter kind of stresses me out and it puts me in a bad mood.

Sometimes, you just need to clear everything and have a little bit of a 'fresh start' by getting rid of items that you don't need.

I don't really know where I was going with this post, but I just wanted to share with you how good it feels to have a clutter free bedroom. Kind of weird but yes. It feels pretty good to do this.
